Rationale and Purpose of the Module:
This module gives the students an opportunity to undertake a substantial project that integrates and uses techniques, and analytic and creative approaches learned within the course, while focusing on a particular domain of interest at a deeper level.
Syllabus:
The project takes two semesters; activities that may be involved in the project include literature review, fieldwork, modelling, design, programming, testing, performance and evaluation.
Learning Outcomes:
Cognitive (Knowledge, Understanding, Application, Analysis, Evaluation, Synthesis)
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate a wide perspective of digital arts practice through a technically and aesthetically advanced project.
2. Demonstrate a deep understanding of a particular domain, technology, artistic approach, medium, formalism, and approach or research area.
3. Undertake a substantial individual project that integrates and uses techniques, and analytic and creative approaches learned within the course.

On successful completion of this module, students be able to:
1. Demonstrate by means of their own individually produced work, an appreciation and understanding of the philosophies and aesthetic values of digital arts practice.

How the Module will be Taught and what will be the Learning Experiences of the Students:
Students will undertake their own, individual projects using their own initiative to drive the project (Responsible), under the guidance of a department supervisor. Based on supervisor feedback they will adjust their project (Agile). Students are asked to verbally present their work and compile a written report (Articulate).
