Rationale and Purpose of the Module:
To give the student an opportunity to synthesize into an effective whole the technical and artistic material mastered in the other parts of the course.
Syllabus:
This must form a substantial project to masters standard.The project may be primarily artistic or technical.An artistic project might involve developing a system, installation, composition performance of a significant experimental nature, with sophisticated and developmental use of technologyA technical project might involve the development of an innovative product or prototypeThe type of project undertaken by the student will determine the nature of the degree awardedStudents who successfully complete all course requirements by means of an artistic project will qualify for the award of M.A. in Interactive media. If a technical project is selected, successful students will qualify for award of M.Sc. in Interactive media.
Learning Outcomes:
Cognitive (Knowledge, Understanding, Application, Analysis, Evaluation, Synthesis)
On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
1. Plan projects in the area of Interactive Media.
2. Determine the requirements for successfully implementing an Interactive Media project.
3. Design Interactive Media projects.
4. Implement Interactive Media projects combining various technical and artistic components into an effective Interactive Media system.

On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate an appreciation of the contribution made by the different components - whether technical or artistic รป in creating an Interactive Media project.
